Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Jenkins, age 78, transitioned to her heavenly home on July 4, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born September 15, 1942, in Treutlen County but had lived most of her life in Dublin. She attended Dublin High School and was self-employed until her retirement. She loved her family dearly and would do anything she could to help anyone. Known for her famous banana pudding, there was not any better anywhere. Ann was a faithful member of Dublin Church of Christ for many years.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Charles Donald Jenkins, Sr. Together, they cherished 58 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her parents, the late John David Wells and Elizabeth G. Wells, two sisters, Jean Wells Neville and Ida Wynona Wells and a nephew, David J. Brack.

She is survived by her children, Charles Donald Jenkins, Jr., Donna (Donny) Murry, Fred Jenkins and Lisa Warnock; a sister, Juanita W. (Robert) Drew; four grandchildren, Candi Dean, Danielle (Brandon) Gay, Brittany (Jamey) Sanders and Josh (Sarah) Warnock; 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 8, 2021, in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home with burial to follow at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Soperton.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Joe Blackburn, Josh Warnock, Donny Murry, Brandon Gay, Jamey Sanders, Kenneth Strong, Ryan Dean and David Foster.

C.J. Sanders, Jeb Freeman, Kase Warnock and Gatlin Dean will serve as honorary pallbearers.
