Frank N. Walker Jr. age 78 of Fremont, formerly of Muskegon, passed away Friday, July 2, 2021 in Fremont. Frank was born on January 24, 1943 in Muskegon to Frank Nicolas and Beatrice (Grinwall) Walker. Frank met and married Peggy Marie O'Rear on January 15, 1966 in Muskegon and Peggy preceded him in death on May 10, 2018. Frank was a veteran of the United States Army where he served during the Vietnam War. Frank had been a long haul truck driver for many years where he had been employed by Inman Trucking, Dyke Brothers, Michigan Produce Haulers and Herin Brothers Trucking until his retirement. Frank had enjoyed hobby farming, hunting, fishing and the Michigan outdoors, tinkering in his garage and cutting wood in his younger years. He especially treasured the time he spent with his family.
Frank is survived by his children, Becky (Neal) Crawford of Fremont; Frank Walker III of Newaygo; Lance (Melissa) Walker of Fremont; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; his sister, Linda Paulsen of Allendale. Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy; his daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Greg Inman; his mother, Beatrice Evans; father, Frank N. Walker; stepfather, Howard Evans; his brothers, Roy Walker and William Walker and his brother-in-law, Jack Paulsen.
