Mark was born December 8, 1948 in Port Huron, the son of Harold and Ruth (Warren) Warner. He married Karen L. Defrain in Port Huron on December 20, 1969. Mark graduated from Port Huron Catholic High School and later from Eastern Michigan University. He was employed with GM financial services, retiring in 2002. Mark was an avid golfer who played in the SPO Financial Golf League and in the "Old Farts" Golf League. He cherished spending time with his grandchildren, taking them to Grandparents University, and eating a 'smidge' of ice cream with them. Mark was known for telling stories and enthusiastically coaching the MSU basketball team from the Latham's living room. He loved outdoor adventures, especially his trips hiking in the U.P. with Bill and Bill. He and Karen enjoyed wintering at the Heartland R.V. Park in Haines City, FL.
Mark is survived by: his wife, Karen; children, James (Jaeyong) Warner, Nicole (Kevin) Jones, and Heather Warner; grandchildren, Kyle, Dylan, Alison, Grace, and Jack; sister, Gail (Jim) Schultz; and numerous nieces and nephews.
