Elisa Puccetti Martin Williams, 90, went to meet with her Lord and Savior on Feb. 21, 2021, while residing in Cave Springs, Arkansas. She was born on June 3, 1930, in West Boylston, Massachusetts, to Italian immigrants, Armando and Madeline Puccetti.
She attended Major Edwards High School where she enjoyed playing basketball and riding horses.
She joined the Women's Army Corps after graduation. It was then that she met her husband, Richard H. Martin. They were married for 26 years and had four children while living all around the world, eventually settling in Fairfield, California, where Richard passed in 1977.
She found love again and married John P. Williams in 1981. They were married for 33 years until his passing in 2014. In 2017, she moved to Arkansas to be closer to family.
Elisa expressed herself through her creativity. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, painting and making dolls. She loved to bake cakes and make her own jellies, specializing in a pepper jelly that was enjoyed by all.
Elisa was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and loyal friend who was loved by all who met her and will be missed by so many.
Elisa is survived by daughters, Shirley 'Sam' Kukich (Bob), Poquoson, Virginia, and Madeline Martin, Cave Springs, Arkansas; son, Richard A. Martin, Rogers, Arkansas; stepdaughter, Lisa Murphy, Fairfield, California; and her beloved dog and devoted companion, Peanut; she took great pride in all of her grandchildren, Jennifer (Stacey) Kelley, John Dunaway, Elisa (John) Cottingham, Laura (Matt) Melenas, Danielle (Rob) Kinney, Debbie (Joel) Arlow, Donna (Eric) Peebles, Brian Martin, Katie (Cliff) Sanders, Theresa (Chris) Keeler, Bryan Murphy, Lauren (Joey) Andrews, Lindsey (Jeff) Martin, Johanna (Chris Miller) and Jennifer (Scott) Nydam; 22 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husbands; her brothers, Frank Ceredona, Louis Ceredona, Joseph Ceredona, Fernando Puccetti, Armando Puccetti; and her eldest son, John J. Martin (Lynn).
A memorial service will be held at noon Friday, July 9, 2021, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 2700 Dover Ave., Fairfield, California. A committal service with military honors will follow at 3 p.m. at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, California.
