ROBERT BARNETT, 72, of Little Rock, Ark., died July 1, 2021 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease. He was born in Little Rock, Ark., to the late Delbert Barnett and Frieda Barnett Vogler.

He spent the majority of his career in the broadcast industry. He was an avid hunter, loved gardening with his wife, and loved his weekend beers watching the Razorbacks.

He is survived by his wife, Linda of the home, who took exceptional care of him and never left his side; son, John Barnett; his daughter in law, Crystal, and beautiful granddaughter, Rylee Barnett, of Cabot; his sisters, Jeannie McKellips (Larry) of Bigelow; Libby Barnett (Mizan Rahman) of Little Rock; brother-in-law, Edward Prince of Hot Springs; and sister-in-law, Joyce Temple, of New Orleans, La.; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. A special thanks to his niece, Janell Temple, for her assistance with his care.

The family would also like to extend thanks to Saline Memorial Hospice for their compassionate care during this time. In honor of Bob's wishes, there will not be a memorial or graveside service. Cremation is entrusted to RuebelFuneralHome.com.
