Betty was born on March 5, 1953 in Headland, Alabama, to the late Eugene and Mattie (McKee) Ward. She came to Citrus County in 1972 from Winter Garden, FL.
Betty was the Seafood Manager at Winn Dixie Grocery Store, and was a member of the Redemption Point Assembly of God Church.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Mark Harrison, Sr.; her sons: Mark Harrison, Jr. and his wife Lindsay of Lake Butler, FL, David Brian Harrison and his wife Monica, of Murphy, NC, her daughters: Kimberly Morris and her husband Joseph, of Alaska and Ashley Harrison of Inverness; her brothers: Carlton Ward of Woodfin, NC, Stancil Ward of Slocomb, AL; her sister, Annette Ulry of Marianna, FL; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson Drew Morris, her brother, David Ward, and her sister, Betty G. Ward.
