He was a graduate of DeSales High School and St. Catherine College and an electrician at G.E. Appliance Park. Steve will be best remembered for always being willing to help others, his generous, giving nature and his unique sense of humor.
He is survived by his parents, Mary Alice (Crider) and Wayne Stewart; sisters, Kelly Stewart and Lori Stewart Holland (Tim); nieces, Abbey, Reagan, and Leah; nephew, Jack; along with Susan Strasser and her children, Derek and Desiree, and his golden retriever, Wally.
Steve's funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 8, 2021 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 6105 S. Third St. with burial at Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
