John David Arnold, 85, of Pataskala, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Mount Carmel East Hospital. He was born on November 13, 1935 in Londonderry, OH, a son to the late Oscar and Margaret (Jones) Arnold. John was a long time member at Tri-Village Christian Church. He loved his immediate and extended family and friends deeply and always enjoyed the many get togethers he shared with them. He took many memorable motorcycle trips locally and across the country with family and friends and participated in many events and rides as a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association. John had an outgoing personality which drew people to him and made it easy for him to make friends and more importantly to share his faith and compassion with those who desired a listening ear. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandi Montgomery; children, Toni (Mike Niggel) Arnold and John (Margie Lech) Arnold; siblings, Gene (Lorraine) Arnold and Deborah (Denny Cook) Meloy and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, John is also preceded in death by his wife, Sara "Sally" Arnold. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Tri-Village Christian Church, 7509 E. Broad St. SW, Pataskala, OH 43062. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the church with Pastor Paul Snoddy officiating.
