Betty Jean Broad McGee, age 73, widow of Edward Carlyle McGee, died Friday, July 2, 2021, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Born in Florence County, she was the daughter of the late George Eugene Broad and the late Ella Eloise Lee Broad. She was a member of the Beulah Free Will Baptist of Pentecostal Faith. She retired as a CNA with Laurel Gardens and formerly was a seamstress with Lazboy Manufacturing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her parents; one daughter, Pamela Matthews; one brother, Sam Broad; two great-grandchildren, Avery Matthews and Morgan Matthews.
