Mr. Peters passed away July 1, 2021, in Tyler. He was born April 23, 1980, in Dallas.

Jerry was a lifelong resident of Wood County & Van Zandt County, and had attended Just As I Am Fellowship Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Garry Dewayne Peters; grandmother, Betty Peters; and aunts, Glenda McGuire and Benita Miller.

Survivors include his mother, Sandra Brown of Grand Saline; daughter, Kira Nicole Peters of Grand Saline; twin brother, Gary Wayne Peters and wife Shelly of Grand Saline; half-brother, Michael Speer and wife Jessica of Hammond, LA; sister, Christina Kay Peters and husband Gary Pinfield of Alba; aunts and uncles, Debra & Lynn Cason of Grand Saline, Billy Brown, and Sue Miller; nieces & nephews, Skylar, Morgan, Aidan, Leslie, Leland, Maddison, Trevor, Daniel, J. T., Samantha, Angel, Tyler, Alissa, Briana, Jayden and Michael III; great-nephew, Dawson; and numerous other relatives and friends.
