Ben was a member of the Masons as well as Green Camp United Methodist Church, and he proudly served his country in the United States Army. He loved his Harley Davidson and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He worked as a conductor for Genesee and Wyoming Inc.
He is survived by his wife Lija; his parents H. Keith and Debra; his children Destiny, Anna, Zack, Anthony, Joseph, and Charlie; his sister Abby Williams; and his grandchildren Brently and Braxton.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Boyd Funeral Home. Services will follow at 1 pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Green Camp Cemetery.
