Jerry grew up in Muskogee Oklahoma where he had many friends and was always the life of the party. He attended Muskogee High School and went on to attend the University of Oklahoma. He made a career in construction as a contractor. Where he exhibited many of his artistic and architectural talents.
In 2001 Jerry had a illness which caused many physical challenges. He moved to Marlin Texas to be near his family. They have been his faithful advocates over the years and always. Jerry approached his challenges with courage, toughness and without complaint.
He is survived by his 3 children, daughter Taylor Baker from Fredericksburg Texas, Sloane Ford from New York , NY. and son Brooks Ford from Hawaii. Grandsons Reece and Case Baker of Fredericksburg, Tx. Sister Coni Jones and spouse Bill from Lott Texas, Billy Ford and spouse Bridget from Hutchison Kansas and Brian Ford and spouse Tracey from Wellston Oklahoma.
He will be missed and our good memories of him will keep us all smiling. As his good friend recently said "Jerry will always be in the conversations." Boomer Sooner!
Graveside Services will be 10:00am Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Greenhill Cemetery under the direction of Hibbs Funeral Home
