Cynthia Williams, age 60 of Salem, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at her home.

Cynthia was born on October 11, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of Claude Provance Sr. and Violet Mae (Irwin) Provance. She married Bobby Williams Sr. in 1978 in St. Louis and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by her three children, Bobby Williams of Johnston City, Candice Cano of Salem, and Jessica Thompson of Salem; one brother, Claude Provance Jr. and wife Cheryl of Salem; 13 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her fiancé, Frank Sedillo.

Cynthia was of the Christian faith. She worked for SCT as a public transit driver for many years. She was a strong supporter of St. Jude's. Most of all, she loved her kids and grandkids.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with Curt Matthews officiating. A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until the time of the service. Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Parkinson's Foundation and can be received at the Crouse Funeral Home who is assisting the family with arrangements.
