Arnold Allen Crawford Sr., 90, of Cowansville, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021 at his home.
He was born in Cowansville on December 28, 1930 to the late Thomas Reed and Julia (Brunner) Crawford, and was a lifelong resident of the community.
Arnold had been retired for 25 years as an operator at Pullman Standard, then working as a pest control technician. He attended Sherrett United Methodist Church and was a lifetime member of the HIlltop Beagle Club. He enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids. He also enjoyed riding in the convertible, mowing grass, and fixing things. He liked baseball, NASCAR, football, and family get-togethers. Arnold renewed his marriage to his wife four times.
Left behind to cherish his memory includes his wife of 69 years, Helen Marjorie (Henry) Crawford, of Cowansville; son, Arnold Crawford Jr. and wife, Diana; daughter, Kathy Vogt and husband, Steve,; son, Richard Crawford; daughters, Connie Sue John and Linda Dunmire and husband, Arthur; son, Ronald Crawford; daughters, Karla Bowser and husband, Brent, and Debra Smith and husband, David; sons, Henry Crawford and wife, Janet, and Timothy Crawford; sixteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, Arnold was preceded in death by his daughter, Helen Anderson; sons-in-law, Donald John and Kevin Pyle; grandchildren, Carson Crawford and John Allen Dunkle; brother, Robert Crawford and his wife, Elma Jean; and sister, Edna Mae Sipe.
Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
