STONE, Mark W., Age 72 of Tampa died Tuesday, June 29, 2021. Mr. Stone was born in Brooklyn, NY and was a longtime resident of Tampa. Mark was an alum of the Defiance College of Ohio and maintained his connection with the Theta Xi Fraternity, He was in the cruise business earning the name "Cruise Captain". He was best known for being a charismatic force. He was vocal, genuinely friendly and was the master of ceremonies for any gathering of which he was a part. He was active with the Chabad of Tampa Bay and Young Israel of Tampa. He was preceded in death by his son, Mitchell Stone. Survivors include his father, Charles Stone, devoted companion Terese Stone, son and daughters-in-law, Jason & Kim Stone of Mendota Heights, Minnesota and Lilly Stone of Tampa, five grandchildren and his sister, Barbara Jacobowitz of Tampa. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Young Israel of Tampa, 13207 N. 52nd Street, Temple Terrace, FL 33617.
