Marlene K. "Mimi" Ealy Carter, 83, of Bellefontaine, passed away Monday morning, June 28, 2021, at Green Hills Care Center.

Mimi was our mother, wife, grandma, great-grandma and friend. She is the reason we are curious observers of the world. She is the reason we aspire to make the BEST iced tea. And most importantly, she is the reason we are all glorious goofballs. Mimi's unique and generous spirit was passed on to her three children: Robert (Bob) Carter, David Carter, and Michelle (Emmie) Carter. She was a riotous playmate to her seven grand-children and a proud great-grandma of three tiny Carters.

Mimi is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, Robert Carter, Sr., to whom she was a guiding star.

Mimi is in our hearts, our memories and our laughter. She will be sorely missed.
