Eula Jean "Tootie" Kimrey Smith, 82, of Snow Camp, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 peacefully with family by her side.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 3572 West Greensboro-Chapel Hill Road, Liberty with Rev. Andy Clapp officiating; burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Tootie was the daughter of the late Lewis and Murphy Rierson Kimrey and was also preceded in death by her husband, Albert "Pud" Smith; sister, Nellie Euliss; and brothers, Hobart Kimrey, Larry Kimrey and John Kimrey.

She leaves behind her daughter, Kim Smith Crockford and husband, David of Burlington; son, Gary Michael Smith and wife, Dana of Snow Camp; granddaughters, Taylor Smith Harris and husband, Charles, and Lizzie Smith Moize and husband, Cody; grandson, Landon Michael Crockford; sisters, Betty Wrenn, Ann Forrester and Deborah Cheek (Tony); and brothers, Hal Kimrey and Jimmy Kimrey.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church Building Fund or Cemetery Fund, PO Box 280, Alamance, NC 27201.
