He was born June 12, 1945 in Buffalo, a son of the late Harold and Dorothy (Hohman) Hoffman. He enjoyed tractor pulling and was a member of the Langford-New Oregon Volunteer Fire Company where he served as a Fire Police. He was an avid farmer and enjoyed spending time on the Happy Hollow Dairy Farm in Springville. Most importantly, he loved being with his children and grandchildren.
Chuck was an Agricultural Engineer for CNH Industrial in New Holland, PA.
He is survived by his wife, Diane (Johnson) Hoffman whom he married on April 5, 1974 in Collins Center; his children: Frank (Kelly) Hoffman of Cincinnati, OH, Karen (Mark Goodman) Hoffman of Lancaster, PA and Beth (Roy) Cordero of Owego, NY; his grandchildren: Austin, Bailey, Adam, Megan, Colby and Charlee; his siblings: Audrey (Robert) Potter, Ken (Doris) Hoffman, Clyde (Joanne) Hoffman, Mary Ann (Gerald) Cohoon and Carol (Richard) Black; also survived by many nieces and nephews and his sidekick, Cricket.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
