William Earl Lowe, age 79, resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on June 28, 2021, at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 14, 1941, in Hillsdale, Michigan, to the late Clarence and Martha (Dohm) Lowe.

William proudly served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He was very fluent in speaking Japanese. He enjoyed reading, playing chess, and had a special love for his dog, Chibi.

Those left to forever cherish his memory are his wife, Emiko Lowe, whom he married on January 5, 1973; three children, Jason Lowe, Kerry Lowe, and Mark (Nicole) Lowe; six grandchildren; two sisters, Chris (Tom) Halsey, Jerry (Bob) Thanasiu; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy and Sally.
