William proudly served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He was very fluent in speaking Japanese. He enjoyed reading, playing chess, and had a special love for his dog, Chibi.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his wife, Emiko Lowe, whom he married on January 5, 1973; three children, Jason Lowe, Kerry Lowe, and Mark (Nicole) Lowe; six grandchildren; two sisters, Chris (Tom) Halsey, Jerry (Bob) Thanasiu; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy and Sally.
