James Christopher Humphries

James Christopher Humphries, 64, of Seabrook, Texas, passed away into God's graces on June 24th.

Chris was born on August 30th, 1956, to Dorette and Jim Humphries in Memphis, Tennessee. After graduating from Memphis University School, Chris attended the University of Virginia. He graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine and completed a residency in Urology at the University of Arkansas. He practiced Urology for 25 years in Clear Lake City, Texas.

A beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, Chris will be remembered for his fun and adventurous spirit and his unique sense of humor. Chris loved hunting, fishing and sailing, and was an avid sports fan. He was an active member of St. Luke's Methodist Church in Houston.

Chris was predeceased by his father, James Milton Humphries. He is survived by his mother, Dorette Humphries, siblings Ken (Joanne), Andy (Renee) and Camille (Fred) and nephews and nieces Henry (Lindsey), Jim (Kathryn) and Stuart (Meghan) Humphries, Alexis and Rachel Lee and Clinton and Katy Ashley.

A memorial service will be held at Crowder Funeral Home in League City, Texas, on July 3rd at 10am.
