Donald L. Stonecipher Sr., 76, died on June 30, 2021 at Harrison Healthcare in Corydon, Indiana. Donald was born on May 25, 1945 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Everett and Nina (Watson) Stonecipher.

Donald was a former chief of police for Corydon and Huntingburg Police Departments and was a former truck driver. Donald served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. Donald was a member and served as deacon at Milltown Baptist Church.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Stonecipher.

Donald is survived by his wife, Jimmie L. Stonecipher of Corydon, Indiana; sons: Donald L. Stonecipher Jr. (Charla) of New Albany, Indiana and Roman Stonecipher (Mary) of New Albany, Indiana; sister, Nancy Welch of Morgantown, Kentucky; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Donald chose cremation and a private graveside service will be at a later date.
