Mary Irene Marston, 100, of Fort Valley, VA passed away July 1, 2021, at Greenfield Reflections of Woodstock.

Mary was born December 26, 1920, in Fort Valley, VA to the late Ralph and Dora Marston.

She is preceded in death by two sisters: Julia Snyder and Catherine Farrar.

She is survived by one sister, Harriett Carr, one nephew Ralph Cecil (Linda), and two nieces, Maisel Lamma and Bobbie Wilbanks (Raymond). Mary is also survived by many great, great-great, and great-great-great nieces and nephews.

Mary was a lifelong member of Oak Level United Methodist Church in Fort Valley, VA, where she served as church treasurer and trustee for many years. She also retired from Aileen, Inc. after working there for many years.

A service in memory of Mary will be held on Sunday, July 4, 2021, at Oak Level United Methodist Church in Fort Valley, VA beginning at 2:00 PM. A graveside service will immediately follow at Isaiah Clem Cemetery in Fort Valley, VA. Pastors Sherry Waddell and John Senters will preside over the ceremony. Pallbearers will be Wayne Brill, Frank Cecil, Tom Cecil, Brandon Lamma, Matthew Lamma, and Philip Lamma. Masks will be required at the service.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude and thanks to the staffs of Greenfield Reflections of Woodstock and Blue Ridge Hospice for the compassion shown and excellent care given to Mary.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mary's memory to Oak Level United Methodist Church; 400 Blackhawk Lane; Fort Valley, VA 22652.
