Jennifer "Nichole" Walker, age 40, died Thursday, April 29, 2021, at Bryan Medical Center East Campus in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was born August 20, 1980, in Birmingham, Alabama, to Sarah Lynn (Walker) Thomsen and Jeffrey Neil Sullivan. She was raised by her mother and former stepfather, Wade Bruce, in Jasper, Alabama, where she was a 1998 Curry High School graduate. Nichole went on to attend the University of Montevallo where she graduated with bachelor's degrees in Biology and Psychology.

Nichole enjoyed traveling. Doolin, Ireland was her favorite destination. She said Ireland felt like home. She was an avid music lover and concert-goer whose favorite bands and performances included Incubus and 311. She was a voracious reader who always had her nose in a book even from a young age. She loved all things Wizard of Oz and Doctor Who.
