Jay DaWayne Miller, 53 of Terri Street, Keyser, WV passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021 at Hampshire Memorial Hospital, Romney, WV.

Born on May 7, 1968 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Pete A. and JoAnn P. (Bowman) Miller of Keyser.

Mr. Miller was a 1986 graduate of Keyser High School. He was a former employee of Burlington United Methodist Family Services in Keyser. Jay was an avid sports card collector. His passion was sports but mostly baseball and football. He loved the Mountaineers, Dallas Cowboys and the LA Dodgers. He was a long time member of Bonnieview Ministries of Keyser and currently was a member of the Calvary Tabernacle of Accident, MD. He enjoyed reading his Bible and would read through it several times during a calendar year.

Surviving in addition to his parents are two sisters, Angela Miller and Tammy Beckwith and husband Dwayne both of Keyser; a son, Chris Gardner and one grandson, Remington Gardner, both of Keyser; Also surviving is one niece, Crescenda Beckwith of Keyser.

Friends will be received at the Bonnieview Apostolic Ministries on Friday, July 2, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A memorial service will be conducted immediately after the visitation at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Pascal Crites and Pastor Robert Fazzalore officiating.

The Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, Keyser, is in charge of the arrangements.
