Bonnie L. Robinson of New Castle went home to be with the Lord on the morning of Wednesday, April 25, 2021 at Henry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born October 1, 1926 to Thomas (Doc) and Fannie (Rossa) Reece in New Castle, Indiana.
Bonnie married Charles V. Robinson October 1949 and was a homemaker and mother all her married life. Her favorite hobbies and past time were thrift shopping, taking care of her cat "sweetie pie," eating snicker bars and Hershey bars, and decorating especially for the holidays. Bonnie was loved by everyone that knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa McCarroll of Knoxville, Tennessee; a son, Brent J. Robinson of New Castle; three grandchildren, Amber McCarroll of Knoxville, Tennessee, Master Sgt. James "J.R." Ryan McCarroll, USAF of Plumus Lake, California, Charles B. Robinson of McCordsville, Indiana; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her former daughter-in-law, Shirley Wagner of Kennard who was as close as a mother and daughter for many years.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Robinson in 1988 and several siblings.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Mooreland Cemetery with Pastor Dennis Hilton officiating
