JONESVILLE, SC
Mr. Michael "Moe" Edwards, age 63, of 309 B St., Jonesville, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021 in Spartanburg.
Mr. Edwards was born in Union, SC, July 11, 1957, a son of the late Wallace Edwards and Margaret Haney. He was employed with Kohler Co. for 20 years and was a member of Jonesville Baptist Church. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Surviving are a daughter, Kayla and husband Corey Smith of Union; two grandchildren, Draden Edwards and Aubree Smith; his in-laws, Bruce Fowler, John Ray Wood, and Nancy Hildebrand; a special friend of the family, Rodney Woody of Jonesville; and a number of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Nancy Gann, Diane Wood and Lynn Fowler and a brother, Benny Ray Hildebrand.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel conducted by Rev. Randy Burgess. Burial will follow at Jonesville Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 2:00 until 3:00PM at the chapel prior to the services.
The family will be at the home of his daughter, Kayla Smith, 106 Barnett Place, Union, SC.
