He was born on June 21, 1949 in Rock Springs, Wyoming, the son of Frutoso and Lois Sanchez.
Mr. Sanchez attended schools in Green River and was a 1967 graduate of the Lincoln High School.
He married Pamela K. Overy in Rock Springs on July 19, 1969 and she preceded him in death on March 9, 2011.
Mr. Sanchez was employed at OCI for forty three years and retired as a utility mechanic in 2011.
His interests included riding motor-cycles, he was an avid golfer and Denver Bronco's fan. He loved attending antique car shows.
His greatest joy was spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include three sons Bart Sanchez and wife Weslee, Troy Sanchez and Kreston Sanchez all of Green River, Wyoming; one brother Pat Sanchez and wife Terry of Green River, Wyoming; his daughter in law Natalie of Evanston, Wyoming; three grandchildren Sydnee, Allison and Kynlie; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; two brother's Eddie Sanchez and Henry Sanchez.
Following cremation, memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 17, 2016 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles #2350, 88 North 2nd East, Green River, Wyoming. Friends may call at the Eagles one hour prior to services.
