Martha (formerly of Rogers City, MI) and her late husband, Walter (formerly of St. Joseph, Missouri) met during World War II when Walter was serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. Following their marriage, they were the founding Proprietors of Adams Pharmacy
in Birmingham, MI from 1956 until their retirement in 1978.

Martha was a fond lover of nature including landscaping, flowers, plants and also loved to bake deserts. In addition, she also had an affection for all types of birds.

With a strong creative nature, Martha was exceptionally fond of her creative time spent with Decoupage pictures, sewing quilts and her needlework art creations.

Martha was a longtime member of St. Thomas More Church. A very spiritual person and was known for her great kindness to her family and friends as well her devotion to God and church.

Martha M. Adams passed away peacefully at the age of 98. She was the wife of the late Walter E. Adams Sr.. Martha is the loving mother of Walter E. Adams Jr., (Jan), Bob Adams (Carol), Tom Adams (Mary) and grand mother of; Johnathon & Joseph Adams, Jennifer Bebber (Timothy), Danielle Barnard (Mark), Sarah Maenza (Joel), Jake Adams and great-grandmother of Sadie & Austin Bebber, Emily Barnard and Sawyer & Layla Adams.

A funeral mass will take place at St. Thomas More Catholic Church,4580 N. Adams Rd., Troy, Thursday at 11 AM with visitation at church beginning at 10:30 AM.
