Shonna had several vocations during her lifetime including working at The Shore Lodge, Shavers and she helped manage the Red Steer in McCall, Idaho and worked at Bucks Bag's in Boise, Idaho.
Shonna loved to spend time with family whenever possible drinking coffee, talking and playing cards or taking an occasional trip to Jackpot to play the slots. She loved having her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren around. And she also enjoyed spending time with her sister, Sharon; going to church and the Red Hat Club.
Shonna is survived by her four children, Eugene "Bill" Gilbert of Nampa, Idaho, Faron Gilbert of Cascade, Idaho, Cherrie Campbell of Boise, Idaho and Bryan Gilbert of Boise, Idaho along with 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; sister, Sharon Burgess of Emmett, Idaho; brother, Rick Fields of New Meadows, Idaho and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 211 E 1st Street in Emmett, Idaho on July 2, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with a procession to the grave site for those who would like to go after the service and then we will come back to the church for a reception.
