Patricia Vale "Pat"
Pat LeBlanc passed away on April 28, 2021 after a lengthy battle with illness. Pat was born in Toronto, Canada on July 9, 1956. As a small child she moved with her family to the U.S.

She grew up in Newport News, Virginia then moved to Friendswood, Texas. Pat came to New Orleans to attend Loyola University and received a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1980. She began her career in accounting and property management for a large downtown New Orleans office complex.

Pat and Chip started dating in 1983, and it was obvious to all it was a perfect match and they were married in February 1984. As Trey, Tracey and Travis arrived; Pat began her next career as mom. She was involved with all of the kids' busy schedules of activities (baseball, cheerleading, gymnastics, tae-kwon-do, hockey, chess, academic games, etc.) in school and after. Family trips became the source of so many great memories and experiences, especially the driving vacations. As Dr. Seuss wrote "Oh, The Places You'll Go!" from the Smokies and Gatlinburg, Washington D.C and Williamsburg, Disneyworld, Niagara Falls, Toronto and Bobcaygeon, Branson, Breckenridge and Winter Park, Park City, Destin, Orange Beach and New York City. As the kids grew up, Pat returned to work as a property manager completing her career cycle. Over the past few years as her illness progressed, Pat fought the effects to spend more time with her family, and through the hardest times, still turned on that big smile for us.

Pat was at home comforted by the loving goodbyes of her family: husband Harold "Chip" LeBlanc Jr., children Harold "Trey" LeBlanc III, Tracey LeBlanc and R. Travis LeBlanc and her sister, Carol Moise.

We thank all of our friends who have given us so much support and their deep compassion for Pat over these last years. Our thanks to the staff at Passages Hospice, especially Michelle, Martha, Nicolle, Jessica and Deacon G, for the care they gave Pat and the comfort they gave to us during these past months.

Services will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will begin at 11:00AM followed by a Mass at 1:00PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to AFTD (www.theaftd.org) or to St Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org). The family invites you to share fond memories and condolences online at www.lakelawnmetairie.com.
