Mr. Jerry Edward Griffin, 74 of Blackshear, passed away early Wednesday morning, June 30, 2021, at his residence.
He was a son of the late James Knight & Mildred Altman Griffin. He was also preceded in death by his son, Jerry Edward "Chip' Griffin, Jr.; and by his brother, James K. "Jimmy" Griffin, III.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Williamson Griffin of Blackshear; three daughters, Teresa G. (Mark) Bowen and Joy (Ralph) Shirley all of Blackshear and Shara (Bill) Pisowicz of Waxhaw, NC; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral arrangements for Mr. Griffin will be held Saturday afternoon, July 3, 2021, at 3:00 o'clock from the First United Methodist Church in Blackshear.
The family will receive friends at the church from 1 until 3 o'clock.
