Carol Denise (George) Adams was born October 20, 1960 in Muskogee, OK to Fred Franklin and Norma Jean (Elkins) George. She graduated from Porter High School in 1979 and earned a nursing license in 1981 from Indian Capital Vo-Tech. Carol went on to earn two more degrees, Food Service Management and Culinary Arts in 1989 and Information Technology in 1997, both from OSUIT.

Carol married Craig Adam on February 17, 1990. She became the proud mother of her daughter, Sherry Nicole Adams, in 1993.

Carol was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in Porter. She enjoyed a number of hobbies, including cooking and baking, and helped make the World's Largest Pecan Pie in 1988! She loved to bowl and play softball and enjoyed watching all sports on television, be it baseball, football, you name it. She could be found working crossword puzzles at all hours and liked playing Mahjong on her iPad. Everyone relied on Carol's tech-savvy talents to hook-up and troubleshoot their issues. Her family will be lost without their tech-whiz!

Carol departed this life Sunday, June 27, 2021 at her home in Porter, OK at the age of 60 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Norma George; paternal grandparents, David Allen and Paula George; maternal grandparents, Marvin P. and LaVonia Elkins and a sister, Judith Celia George.
