Michael Handley Marsh, age 76, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. He was born on February 10, 1945, to his late parents, Adelbert and Johnnie Marsh. Mr. Marsh was a member of First Baptist Church in Bremen, GA. Michael was an avid gardener, enjoyed traveling, and to BBQ; he was a member of the GA BBQ Association. He loved Jesus and his grandchildren immensely. His dog, Mojo, brought him great joy as well. Mr. Marsh is preceded in death by his grandsons, Alex Luttrell and Casey Longmeyer; brother, David Marsh; great-grandson, Dawson Lee; brother in-law, John Estes.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Joy Marsh; daughters, Maria Thompson, Dawn (Tommy) Southern, Christina (Stephen) Luttrell, Michele (Mike) Yother, and Brenda Marsh; son, Michael (Cassidy) Longmeyre; sister, Cindy Estes; grandchildren, Wayne Palmer, Matthew (Katie) Luttrell, James Luttrell, Kevin (Cheyanne) Thompson, Skilynn Luttrell, Luke (Mackenzie) Luttrell, Kyle (Haley) Southern, Amanda Southern, Christina Yother, Grant Yother, Avery Longmeyre, Ella Longmeyre, Evan Longmeyre, and Sadie Longmeyre; great-grandchildren, Lisa Palmer, Jo Palmer, Noah Thompson, Luna Luttrell, Layla Southern, Alana Southern, Lorelei Southern, and Tristan Southern; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Mr. Marsh's doctor, Dr. Nishant Shroff and Wellstar Hospice.

Memorial services for Mr. Marsh will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Friday, July 2, 2021, at 11:30 AM with Pastor Herman Parker officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, July 1, 2021, from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.

Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew Luttrell, James Luttrell, Kevin Thompson, and Luke Luttrell.
