The family and friends of Audrey Johnson are mourning the loss of their loved one who was called from this life on June 29, 2021, at the age of 87. Audrey was born in Gueydan, LA. to Nezier Abshire and Olphida Baudoin on July 20, 1933. She was a retired bus monitor and homemaker, she dedicated her life to the care of her family. Audrey was devoted & faithful member of the catholic faith. Audrey loved the time she spent with her family, especially her daughter. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Audrey is survived by her daughter, Judy A. Johnson of Gueydan, LA; her brothers, Donald Abshire (Judy), Leward Abshire (Brenda); her sisters, Louella Hernandez (Gerald), Ethelene Uriegas; her grandsons, Brady Broussard (Jamie), Jacques Broussard; her great grandchildren, Joshua, Cody, Taylor, Madison, Kylie Mouton, Landon Denis, & Aiden; her first great-great grandson, Atlas John, due in October; her beloved pets Ginger, & Callie Girl; as well as numerous nieces & nephews.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, Nezier & Olphida Abshire; two sons, Denis Broussard, & Michael Broussard; her sister, Della Lavergne; as well as her beloved pet, Boxer, Champ.
