Pamela D. Piper Edwards, age 67, a New Castle resident passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 29, 2021. She was born September 16, 1953 in Columbus, Indiana, a daughter of Chet and Ramona Mae Boaz Piper.
She was a New Castle resident most of her life and was a 1971 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School. She worked for Lingle Real Estate, WMDH Radio Station, Keystone Mortgage, and Main Source Bank. Pamela enjoyed family activities, fishing, music and gardening.
Left to cherish her loving memory include her husband, Alex Edwards; three daughters, Danielle Nicholson (husband, Jaymen), Sarah Haynes, Kailee (wife, Tifani) Haynes, all of New Castle; seven grandchildren, Shae Huston (husband, David) of Indianapolis, Mariah and Layne Nicholson, Bryceton Thrine, all of New Castle, Kyler, Myleigh, and Kenadee Coffey, all of Cowan, Indiana; siblings, Debbie Bell and Kevin Piper, both of New Castle; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Chet Piper, her mother, Ramona Mae Pringle; a granddaughter, Lyllie Ann Coffey; a brother-in-law, Mike Bell.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 2, 2021 at Macer-Hall-Marcum & Moffitt Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Davis officiating. Burial will follow at South Mound Cemetery.
