When she wasn't a full-time homemaker, Laura worked outside the home. Early in her career she was an assistant manager at Burger King, and then worked at Churchill's Grocery, both in Bowling Green. She then concentrated on caring for the home and raising the children, before joining the retail team at Target Department Store. She loved teaching and guiding children, helping with Vacation Bible School and Sunday School teaching at St. Paul's.
Laura enjoyed the outdoors, going on nature walks in various gardens, zoos, woods and parks, and an occasional canoe ride. She loved photography, art and jigsaw puzzles; she also enjoyed history and art museums, live shows (particularly comedy), movies, putt-putt golf, and stargazing with her girls. She enjoyed going to school music performances with Jamie, and she was fond of folk music, classic soft rock, and acoustic guitar. Her greatest pastime was her family and spending time with her children.
In addition to her husband Jamie, Laura is survived by her daughters: Brianna (Thomas) Gaetano of TN, Jenna Moore of Fairborn, OH and Kalee Moore of Pemberville. Mother: Eileen Bostwick of Bowling Green and sister: Diana (Randy) Stone of TX. She was preceded in death by a son, Tyler Moore and her father, Lawrence Bostwick.
Laura will be laid to rest next to her son Tyler in Fish Cemetery at a family committal service. The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials take the form of contributions to: Make a Wish Foundation, St. Jude's Children Hospital or the World Wildlife Fund.
