AGE 94 YEARS

Anne Heaphy Congdon, passed away Monday, June 28, 2021. She was the wife of the late Daniel Congdon, Sr. Daughter of Harold Heaphy and Mary (Norton) Heaphy, Ann was born in Lee, MA, where she attended Lee High School and the Elms College in Chicopee.

She leaves behind her children: Daniel, Jr., Kevin, Thomas, Mary Anne Raffol, Christine Rasmussen, Joan Barr, Patricia Reilly and their spouses. Ann was the proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Ann spent most of her life raising her family in Needham, MA, where she was a member of St. Joseph's Parrish. In addition, she volunteered her time to Women's Sodality, and was a cub scout and brownie leader. She was an avid sports fan, especially the Boston teams. She and her husband Dan retired to their South Yarmouth home in the mid 1980's, where they enjoyed the ocean, neighborhood gatherings and golfing. Ann was an active member of the Red Hatters.
