Mrs. Savoie was a homemaker and was married to James A. Savoie for 69 Years until his passing in 2016. Her pecan pies and Jambalaya were the best.
She was proceeded in death by her husband and a daughter Phyllis Savoie Tarkington.
She is survived by her two sons, James O Savoie (Madeline) and Dennis Savoie; grand children, Candice Menard, Jackie Tarkington, Jeremy Tarkington, Danielle Kirkland, James Tarkington, along with numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Savoie will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 4pm until 8pm. A rosary will be prayed at 6pm. Visitation will resume 8am Friday, July 2, 2021 until the time of service. Services will be held at the funeral home at 10am. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery, Lake Charles, Louisiana.
