Beverly was born on October 2, 1942, in Manitowoc, a daughter of the late Harold and Bernice (Fischer) Gerl. She grew up in Manitowoc and was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. Following high school she attended one year of teachers college. Beverly worked in the wood plant at Fisher-Hamilton for 32 years before her retirement. In her retirement Beverly enjoyed bird watching. For 14 years she volunteered at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in the gift shop, information desk, admission escort and as a discharge escort. Beverly was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish.
Survivors include cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Harold and Bernice Gerl; one brother Gerald Gerl; her grandparents: Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Fischer and Mr. & Mrs. John Gerl along with uncles and aunts.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, 1416 Grand Ave. Manitowoc. The Rev. Doug LeCaptain will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial to follow at St. Michael Cemetery, Whitelaw. Relatives and friends may call at the church at the time of service.
