Judith Vanzella Young was born on Friday, September 1, 1939 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Albert Williams & Wilma Weaver Hudnell. Judy as she was affectionately called professed her faith in Jesus Christ and accepted Him as her personal Lord and Savior.

Judy grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she received her formal education and graduated from West Philadelphia High School in 1957.

Following her completion of high school, Judy attended and was employed at the Philadelphia General Hospital where she pursued her nursing career. She was also employed at the Youth Study Center and the District 6 Health Clinic. Judy later retired from the Holmesburg City Prison.

Judy met and married the late Raymond Young and to this union, three beautiful children were born.

Judy loved life to the fullest. She had a passion and heart for the children in her life. Being willing to do anything that she could for them. Judy, being an independent and strong minded woman, she enjoyed good food, shopping and loved to travel. She was truly a beautiful soul. Judy was a loving person who was deeply devoted to her children, grandchildren and family. She never missed a time to support her children and grandchildren in all their achievements and events. She was dedicated to her loved ones in good times and bad, and could be counted on to help in any way she could.

On Sunday, June 13, 2021 in Avondale, Arizona God said; "Judy", I have many mansions, come home now to yours. "It's a place of no pain, no suffering, no doctors, no hospitals, only eternal rest". She is preceded in death by her Husband; Raymond Young, Parents; Albert Williams & Wilma Weaver Hudnell, Sisters; Beverly Rollins, Bernice Richardson, Alice Brooks, Lavenia Rolle & Alfred Hudnell to whom she loved dearly.

Judy's beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her Son; Michael Young, Daughters; Sheilah Booker & Sharon Young, Daughter In Love; Yvonda Young, Son In Love; Michael Booker, Beloved Grandsons; Mikail Young (Cristina), Richard Young & Michael Booker, Jr., Great Grandchildren; Mikaila & Xahlia Young, Sisters; Deaconess Yvonne Stokes (James Hickson), Rev. Dianne Taylor, Marilyn & Sandra Williams, Brother; Ronald Hudnell (Theresa), Aunt; Audrey Hearring, Uncle; Stanwood Weaver. Judy is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, great-grand nieces and nephews & cousins.
