Our beloved Patricia "Patty" Sue Carroll, age 68, passed away on May 2, 2021 in Dallas, TX. She was born in Dallas, TX on July 9, 1952 to Frank and Hazel Ausbrooks. She was the 2nd youngest of four siblings, Jerry Ausbrooks and Jimmy Bitros who proceeded her in death and Jayne Ausbrooks Gibson who survived her in death.

Patty was a believer in Christ. She loved Jesus and Elvis! One of her favorite Elvis songs was "Viva Las Vegas". She had a special love for her family, especially her grandchildren. She had a big heart. If someone was down or sad, she would always try and cheer them up. She loved to say wild things to make people laugh. Patty loved to have visitors and always had a smile when you came to see her. She loved all holidays and Christmas was her favorite! She loved decorating the whole house and especially loved a huge Christmas tree with lots of decorations and presents. Patty always looked forward to the summer time. She enjoyed swimming and especially loved laying out and getting a tan. Patty also loved the thrill of a good horse race. She loved to go to the tracks and watch the horses run. Patty was full of life and had a special spirit like no other. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Patty is survived by her loving husband Ronald Carroll; her sister Jayne Ausbrooks Gibson; her daughter Shelley McLeod and son Bobby Dean McLeod; her step-daughter Christy Bolin and her husband Paul Bolin; grandchildren Cody McLeod, CJ McLeod, Payton Sullivan, Dylan McLeod, Cassidy McLeod, Ashlynn Mills and Gavin McLeod; step-grandchildren Audrey Vecchio, Brittany Bolin and Hannah Bolin; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. All of these she loved deeply.
