Funeral Services for Glenda Oliver will be 10 am, Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Alvin Featherston officiating. Burial will follow at Meredith Campground Cemetery.
Glenda Gail Peters Oliver was born on June 8, 1959 in Dallas, TX to James and Mary Peters. She passed away on June 26, 2021 in Sunnyvale, TX. She attended the Bethel School and grew up in Walton. Glenda loved to fish, cook and visit the casinos now and again. She was a generous person who would help anyone she could, her feisty personality and sense of humor endeared her to many. She loved her family with all her heart and cherished her role as a mother and "Mimi" to her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by those she leaves behind.
She is preceded in death by her parents as well as her brothers: Charles Peters and Roy Peters; grandparents, James and Flesta Peters.
Glenda is survived by her daughter, Brandy Richardson and husband Clint of Mesquite, TX, grandson, Christian Hartig of San Diego, CA, granddaughter, Kaylee Hartig of Mesquite, TX, great grandchildren, Jessalynn and Josiah Spears of Mesquite, TX, sister-in-law, Glenda Rickman of Athens, TX, nephews: Jason Peters of Athens, Josh Rickman and wife Shawna of Athens; niece, Kiley Nachtrieb of Athens, Madyson Rickman of Athens, and Morgan Rickman of Athens.
Serving as pallbearers are: Jason Peters, Josh Rickman, Gage Forner, Michael Featherston, Darrell McChristian, Christian Hartig, and honorary pallbearer Josiah Spears.
