MILES, Barbara - Barbara Ethel Miles, 89, of Maple Ridge, British Columbia, formerly of Barrie, Ontario, Oshawa, ON, and her beloved Cobourg, ON, died peacefully in her sleep on July 18th, 2017. Born April 5th, 1928 in Toronto, ON, she is predeceased by her parents, Myrtle and Charlie Sleeman and her late husband of 41 years, Douglas J. Miles. Barbara was very social, loving a dinner party, a drink and a visit or catching up over the phone. She had a great sense of humor and wanted us to share with all her friends and family ""I told you I wasn't feeling well""! She is survived by her two sons, Christopher Miles, wife Rianna and 2 children (Kyler and Kiara) of Maple Ridge, BC, and Craig Miles, wife, Nancy Kastein and daughter Hannah of Georgetown, ON; a brother Gordon Sleeman and wife Gail. A private family service and cremation has taken place in Maple Ridge.
