The 1880 Census has Nancy living in Marion Township, Hendricks County, Indiana. Also listed were her husband, James (but listed as Kelley) and four children, Mary F., John M., Jerry and Rebecca M.

From the April 3, 1925 Indianapolis Star:

Mrs. Nancy Jane Key, 81 years old [sic], died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rebecca Holmes, 232 South Lyon avenue [Indianapolis].

Surviving are three other children, Mrs. Frank Sears and Jerry Key, both of Indianapolls, and Mrs. Mary Branson of Cloverdale.
