Linda Louise Williams Lewis, 74 of Rincon, passed away Sunday (June 27, 2021) at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick, following an extended illness.
Born in Nahunta, GA., her parents were Joseph Clinton Williams and Effie Lee Steedley Williams.
Linda attended Compassion Christian Church in Rincon. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, music, dancing, and going to the beach. She also loved laughing and hanging out with her grandchildren and their friends, she was known as "Mema" to them all.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Timmy Herrin (Jennifer), of Atkinson; 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Angie Thomas (Albert), of Hoboken, and Katina Herrin, of Rincon; 5 grandchildren, Jamin Herrin (Lakin), of Guyton, Morgan Hayman (Bryant), of Hoboken, Ashley Wilson (Tanner), of Nahunta, Ryley Gadomski, of Rincon, and J.C. Herrin, of Nahunta. Also several cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday (June 30, 2021) from 6PM-8PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday (July 1, 2021) at 1PM at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Wainright officiating.
Burial will family in New Hope Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Cooler, Jeffery Corkern, Dominic Martin, Matt Downs, and Brinson Williams.
Due to COVID-19, we would like to ask all to please follow the rules for social distancing, also face mask are highly recommended at the service. Anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the service the family would like you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
