Mr. Hill was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving honorably for 23 years, prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Hub City Club in Shippensburg, PA and a life Member of the American Legion Post 46 in Chambersburg, PA. He enjoyed socializing with his buddies at the club and attending social functions.
Surviving are two sisters, Ruth Andrews of Funkstown, MD and Grace Barker (husband Larry) of Berkley Spring, WV, his companion of 23 years, Shirley Cump of Chambersburg, PA, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline I. "Polly" Keith Hill in 2000.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021, at 11:30 AM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Norland Cemetery.
