Ed was honorably discharged from the US Navy where he worked as a welder. He enjoyed watching sports, and listening to the Oldies and Rock music. Ed was a machinist by trade.
Edward is also survived by his sister Barbara Long, and his two brothers; Richard Long, and Michael Long.
Relatives and friends are invited to share in Edward's Life Celebration on Friday July 2, from 9 AM to 9:50 AM at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike, 610-277-7000. His Funeral Service will begin at 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
