Judith was the daughter of John L. and Evelyn R. (Spires) King Jr. and born in Detroit, MI on November 15, 1940. She graduated from Dondero High School (Royal Oak MI) and later moved to Frankenmuth in 1967, a place she loved and lived for the rest of her life. In 1972, she began working at Gaudreau Florist of Saginaw as a secretary and arranger, and worked there until her retirement.

She loved to travel; visiting Italy more than once and Ireland being her favorite destinations. Judi looked forward to summer vacations at the family cottage on Brevort Lake in the U.P. She loved Jesus and her church, St. Lorenz Lutheran, where she was an active member for the majority of her life and sang in the choir. Judi enjoyed reading books; especially about art, ancient history and classic novels. She loved art and was an artist herself, painting many beautiful pieces on ceramics through the years. Judi could be found listening to 50's and 60's Rock and Roll, Billy Haley and the Comets, Bob Seger as well as Elvis, who was her favorite. Judi had a gift of being able to speak softly yet speak her mind, to always be honest and share her feelings. She was adored by all and will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her brothers John (Janet) King of Falls Church, VA and Geoffrey King of Flagstaff, AZ, and sister-in-law Trini King of Owosso, MI. She was the beloved aunt of Jodi (Greg) Drogowski of Indian River, MI, Christopher (Katherine) Ahlgren of Shelby Twp, MI, John (Sarah) King of Raleigh, NC, Stacey (Mark) Rathwell of West Branch, MI and Stefanie (Ray) Medina of Ovid, MI along with 15 great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by lifelong friend and companion Don Laga of Linden, MI.

She was predeceased by both of her parents, her sister Linda, and brother-in-law Walter "Corky" Ahlgren formerly of Sears, MI.
