John Joseph McLaughlin, age 67 on Anna, died Friday, June 25, 2021 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.
He was born May 23, 1954 in Chicago, the son of Robert and Dorothy McLaughlin.
He married Amie McLaughlin on October 29, 2013.

John is survived by his loving wife, Amie of Anna; sisters, Mary, Kathy, and Peggy; brother, Michael; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

John proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked for the Lufthansa Airline in Chicago for many years. He had three dogs and one cat that he rescued and he loved them all very much. John had many wonderful friends that he loved dearly. He will be missed by many. John's wishes were for his body to be donated for cancer research. His hope was to help ensure that no one else would have to go through the same illness.

There will be no services held at this time.
