Charles was the second son born to Richard and Lela (Lewis) Craig. Despite being born with cerebral palsy, Charles lived life to the fullest. He loved their little acreage in Des Moines where he got to work with animals and ride his bike everywhere. But he really blossomed when they moved to Bearcreek Montana. He knew all the towns people and they knew and loved him.

Charles worked at Beartooth Industries in Red Lodge for 30 years. He cut the wood for many, many projects that graced the sidewalks---benches, flower boxes. Charles was never without his cowboy hat on his head! He had a ready smile for anyone who seemed receptive; he loved his cousins and they miss him. He rests easy with his parents and brother in Ridgeway and his little brother Earl in Des Moines.
